Community development

1. Spring protection and community water project
   SONABIC has supported protection of 4 springs and 1 community water project that served an initial 96 and currently 138 households with funding from LVEMP II.
2. Fish farming
   The LVEMP II project that was implemented by SONABIC in 2014-2016 supported the establishment of 10 fishponds that continue to supply the community with fresh tilapia fish.
3. Low-cost housing
   SONABIC introduced a low-cost housing project for its youthful members where permanent structures (houses and latrines) are built with stabilized soil blocks. So far 4 members have benefitted.
